A baby cow is called a “calf”, “Heifers” are kind of like cow teenagers. She becomes a “Cow” and begins producing milk after giving birth around 2 years of age.

Our cows produce 90 lbs of milk per day – that’s about 11 gallons of milk per cow each day!

The milk from our farm goes into locally produced milk, yogurt, cheese, ice cream, butter and other yummy dairy products!
